In event management, there is a wide array of AI-powered tools available to streamline various aspects of the planning and execution process. I talked what AI can do to help you in my previous blog xxxxxx. FOr many of us AI sounds very technicale and you might be thinking do i need training to use these products or is it expensive software that i need to buy? The answer is no not for everything, basically AI is everywhere now and is built in to some of your go to programmes already, simply its an addition that I think will make your life easier. So here are some AI tools that can enhance your event management efforts:
1. Data Analytics Platform:
Google Analytics: Provides insights into website traffic, user behavior, and marketing effectiveness. I love google analytics, its give me so much information about what content is resinating most with users and which platforms are driving traffic. This allows me to adapt my messaging and perhaps focus on specific social media platforms for certain events. Information is key and the more you have the better decisions you will make.
2. Virtual Assistants and Chatbots:
HubSpot Chatbot Builder: Allows you to create intelligent chatbots to engage with attendees, answer inquiries, and provide event information. I think chatbots are an essential tool for any landing page, its your 24/7 customer service department and can take over some of the work for you by providing the answers to the more simple questions freeing up your time to get on with the other million tasks you have sitting on your to-do list!
3. Facial Recognition and Security Solutions:
To be honest I haven’t tried out any of this stuff personally yet, but I love the thought of it. Having eyes on your event at all times can provide peace of mind for an organiser. I know some people may feel this is a bit big brother is watching, but I would rather have that than have an atrocity happen at the event that could have been prevented. Here are a couple of examples that you could try.
- FaceFirst: Provides facial recognition technology for event access control, attendee identification, and enhanced security.
- Deep Sentinel: Utilises AI-powered surveillance cameras and real-time monitoring to detect and deter security threats during events.
4. Attendee Engagement and Feedback Tools:
There are loads of these out there but my favourite go to is Sli.do. I find it such an easy product to use and I find that it integrates with so many other event management tools that there is no reason to look elsewhere.
Sli.do: Employs AI for real-time polling, audience engagement, and collecting feedback to enhance event experiences. I have embedded it in event apps to create pre event polls and discussions to engage audience even before they have arrived at my event, but love the live Q&A functionality along with being able to
5. Content Creation
As event managers , we wear many hats, and if you are like me content writing is not my strongest suit, and i have recently found a new love for programs that help me to create more engaging content.
ChatGP: This tool can help you brainstorm ideas, refine your messaging, and generate content for various purposes. Whether you need catchy slogans for promotional materials, captivating event descriptions, or engaging social media posts, ChatGP can provide suggestions and assist you in crafting compelling content. Just provide some information about your event, target audience, and goals, and ChatGP can offer creative insights and assistance to make your content more engaging and effective.
These AI tools can be so helpful in streamlining event management processes, enhancing attendee experiences, and driving the success of your events. Depending on your specific needs and objectives, integrating these AI-powered solutions into your event management toolkit can help you stay ahead of the curve and deliver exceptional events.
Happy Planning xx
